Jiří Fibich started to pursue an agricultural production at the end of 2003. In that way he, after 50 years, continued in the tradition his ancestors Josef and Alžběta Fibich, later also their son Jan and his wife Libuše started.  They were the independent farmers at Encovany since 1922 and carried out this activity till 1949 when they were forced - because of political and economic changes - to enter the Unified Cooperative Farm at Encovany. Their son Jan and his wife Libuše consequently became the employees of the   “Polabský chmelař” cooperative farm and worked there till their retirement.

Jiří Fibich therefore continues in the family tradition of farming. At present, he is engaged in   the agricultural production at the cadastral territory of  Encovany, Hrušovany, Polepy, Libínky, Sedlec by Litoměřice, Trnová by Polepy, Třebutičky and Zahořany by Litoměřice.  His farming activity is focused not only on production but also on landscaping (mowing grass plots and ditches, keeping up woodlots and other vegetation) with the goal to create an aesthetically valuable landscape. Furthermore he also provides number of services for neighbouring farmers and communal sphere.
